Manpower is currently seeking experienced Kitchen Hands to join a busy catering and hospitality team based at a major Defence site in Puckapunyal.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional kitchen workplace supporting daily food service operations.
About the Role
You will play a key role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, supporting chefs, and ensuring smooth daily operations within a fast-paced food service environment.
Roster & Hours
Monday to Sunday availability requiredTypical start time around 10:00amApproximately 7.5-hour shiftsShift times may vary based on operational requirementsFlexibility across all days is essential
Key Responsibilities
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and wash dishes, utensils, and equipmentAssist chefs with basic food preparation tasksReceive, unpack, and store deliveries safely and efficientlySupport the kitchen team with daily operational dutiesFollow all food safety, hygiene,



and workplace safety procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar hospitality roleAbility to work a flexible roster, including weekendsStrong work ethic and reliabilityAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentGood communication skills and the ability to follow instructionsA team-focused attitude
Due to the nature of the site, applicants must:
Be an Australian CitizenHold a current driver's licence and have access to reliable transportBe willing to obtain a National Police CheckBe able to pass any required pre-employment screening
