The Security Hub (Victorian Private Security Business Licence No. **********S) is currently recruiting professional, reliable and customer-focused Casual Security Officers to join our Major Events Team for the Phillip Island MotoGP.Event dates: 21 to 25 October ****Location: Phillip Island, VictoriaAccommodation: Provided for the duration of the eventThis is an excellent opportunity to work at one of Victoria's major sporting events and become part of The Security Hub's growing Major Events Team.We are looking for approachable and professional Security Officers who can deliver a high standard of customer service while helping maintain a safe and welcoming workplace for patrons, staff and event stakeholders.Key responsibilities may include:Providing professional customer service and assistance to patronsAccess control and checking authorised entryCrowd management and monitoring designated areasConducting security patrolsFollowing site procedures and instructions from supervisorsIdentifying and reporting security or safety concernsResponding calmly and professionally to incidentsMaintaining a professional presence throughout the eventTo be considered,



applicants must have:A current Victorian Security LicenceA current First Aid certificateAvailability between 21 and 25 October ****Strong verbal and written English skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsA professional appearance and positive attitudeThe ability to work morning, afternoon or night shifts as requiredThe ability to work effectively within a large event teamApplicants who are available for the entire event period will be given preference.The following will be highly regarded:Previous major-event security experienceCrowd control or customer service experienceTraffic management experienceExperience working in busy public environmentsThese positions are offered on a casual basis, and applicable Security Services Industry Award rates will be paid.
