This is primarily a cooking role, preparing meals for a small crew of approximately ***** people.
You will work independently for much of your roster, so we are looking for someone who enjoys having ownership of their kitchen and can organise their day confidently.There are also some light camp cleaning and laundry duties as required.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare morning tea and lunch for approximately 12 employeesPrepare dinner for approximately ***** people each eveningPlan and prepare varied, nutritious and well-presented mealsManage food storage, stock rotation and kitchen suppliesMaintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanlinessComplete light laundry and camp cleaning duties as requiredDrive a company 4WD utility into Nhulunbuy when required to collect groceries and fresh suppliesWork independently and manage your own daily routine around required meal timesAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is practical,
