We are offering a unique opportunity for a motivated and safety-focused individual to join our team as a Transport Apprentice.
Over 24 months, you will gain hands‐on experience, develop essential skills, and work towards earning your Heavy Combination (HC) driver licence, setting you up for a successful long‐term career with MJ Mahon Transport.What You will Do:Assist experienced drivers with day-to-day transport operations.Complete nationally recognised training in transport – Certificate III in Driving Operations.Learn to operate , clean,



and maintain several types of vehicles and equipment including having access to a fully maintained company utility vehicle during working hours.Conduct minor vehicle Safety InspectionsConduct minor mechanical repairs.Distribution of Truck fuel and additivesUndertake safe loading and unloading.Gain real-world driving experience under supervision.Progress toward gaining a Forklift, MR ,HR and HC licence with full company support.What We are Looking For:A genuine interest in the transport industryA current, clean, and valid driver's licence (minimum Green Provisional Licence)Willingness to learn and follow safety proceduresA solid work ethic, reliability, and cheerful outlookAbility to follow instructions and work in a team.Strong written and verbal communication skillsIT skills – Microsoft officeWhat We Offer:Paid, structured apprenticeship program with on-the-job training.Support to gain your HC driver licence (all training and testing costs covered)Mentoring by experienced drivers and supervisorsOpportunity for a full-time Driver role upon successful completionA supportive, family-oriented workplace that values your growth.Start your journey in transport today!
