Centenary Park Golf Course has commenced an exciting new chapter, with Peninsula Leisure taking over management of the facility in earlier this year.

If you're passionate about golf, have experience in front-of-house operations within golf, sport or leisure facilities and a knowledge of golf programs, coaching environments and participation pathways, this is a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Full-Time Golf Operations Assistant.

About the RoleAs a key member of our Golf Operations team, you'll support the smooth, safe and efficient running of daily operationsacross the venue.
Reporting to the Golf Operations Coordinator,



you'll work across both front-of-house andback-of-house tasks, helping us create a welcoming and professional environment for all golfers and guests.Your day could include:
Delivering outstanding customer service at reception and in the caféProcessing point-of-sale transactions and managing bookings, in person, via phone and onlineHandle customer feedback and elevate issues as requiredProvide basic advice on golf equipment and apparel as well as assisting with hire equipment management(carts, clubs, range balls)Oversee driving range operations to ensure a positive experience for all usersPreparing and serving basic food and beverage itemsMaintaining a clean, well-presented café and service area in line with food safety standardsSupporting course operations including stock handling, marshalling assistance, and event/program setupWorking alongside PGA professionals and casual staff to support coaching programs and participationactivitiesThis role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork and being part of a vibrant community facility.
What You'll Bring
Current CPRCurrent First AidCurrent Police Records CheckCurrent Working with Children CheckResponsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)Experience in front-of-house operations within golf, sport, leisure or similar environmentsKnowledge of golf programs,



coaching environments or participation pathwaysExperience working with golf professionals, coaches or instructorsFamiliarity with golf booking systems such as MiClub (or similar)Strong customer service skills and a genuine commitment to creating great experiencesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsInitiative, problem-solving ability and sound decision-makingResilience, adaptability and a strong values alignment - especially important during a period of positive chang
