We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Weighbridge Operator / Administration Officer to join our team in Lismore on a 6-month maternity leave contract.
This is a great opportunity for someone with robust administration and computer skills who enjoys working with customers and is looking for a Monday to Friday role with consistent hours.
About the Role
Working Monday to Friday, 7:15am - 3:45pm, you will be responsible for a combination of weighbridge operations, customer service and general administration duties.
Key Responsibilities
Operating the weighbridge and accurately recording vehicle weights and movementsAssisting customers and providing friendly and professional customer serviceProcessing customer payments and handling transactionsCompleting general administrative duties and data entryMaintaining accurate records and documentationUsing computer systems to enter and process informationResponding to customer enquiries and assisting with any queriesSupporting the wider team with day-to-day administrative tasks
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Must undergo a Medical Drug and Alcohol TestMust undergo a Police CheckPrevious administration or customer service experienceStrong computer and data entry skillsGood attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and customer service skillsConfidence handling payments and transactionsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamA reliable and professional approach to workPrevious weighbridge experience is advantageous but not essential
