We're a collaborative team that likes to do things differently – curious, driven people who dive in, learn fast and get involved across the business.About the roleThe Live Betting Operator is responsible for supporting live and in-play betting - processing bets quickly and accurately, relaying market and odds updates to customers, and resolving betting disputes - in a fast-moving, time-critical environment.This is a casual position that will require working on weekdays, weekends and public holidays.Key Responsibilities:Live Betting SupportRespond promptly to customer inquiries about live and in-play betting via phone, (chat and email may also be required), providing fast, accurate support during time-sensitive marketsProcess and verify bet placements, ensuring accuracy and speed across all bet typesTroubleshoot betting issues, including price changes, market updates and in-play delays, escalating complex issues to the relevant teams when necessaryCollaborate with the trading team to ensure betting adjustments and market updates are relayed to customers swiftly and accuratelyIdentify and resolve betting disputes,



ensuring customers are supported quickly and escalations are handled according to processProactively engage with customers during live events to offer a positive, responsive betting experienceActively monitor for signs of problematic gambling behaviors, using tools and indicators to identify customers who may benefit from responsible gambling support.Educate customers about responsible gambling tools available to them, such as deposit limits, time-outs, and self-exclusion options.Encourage protected betting practices by communicating clearly about responsible gambling resources and supporting customers in setting limits as needed.Work with compliance and responsible gambling teams to escape cases where customers may need additional support, ensuring all regulatory guidelines are met.Reporting and DocumentationMaintain accurate records of betting disputes, market issues and escalationsDocument recurring issues and work with the trading and product teams to improve live betting supportCross-Functional Team SupportShare insights and customer feedback to help shape trading support strategies and live betting toolsParticipate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed of new products, markets and proceduresAbout youAble to work in a fast-moving, time-critical environmentAvailable to work weekdays, weekends and public holidaysA solid understanding of sports and racing
