About the roleDP World is seeking a Network Engineering Specialist on 2-year Max Term contract to design, implement, and maintain secure, high-performing network systems that support our organisation's strategic goals.
In this role, you will take ownership of the full lifecycle of network hardware and software, lead system upgrades, and ensure reliability, security, and scalability across our infrastructure.You'll work within a team that values technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
If you're passionate about building resilient networks and driving forward-thinking solutions, we'd love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage network and security infrastructure to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and minimal disruption to business operationsProactively maintain and improve network systems through monitoring, patching, upgrades, capacity planning, backups, and preventative maintenanceProvide advanced (Level 2 and 3) technical support to quickly resolve network issues and reduce operational impactCreate and maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, security models, and operational proceduresPromote and apply best practices in network security, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirementsDeliver effective and timely network and security solutions that support business and project needsQualifications, Skills and Experience required:Cisco CCNP, CCSP, or CCDP certification, ITIL Foundation,



and a tertiary/degree qualification in Information TechnologyStrong experience with Cisco hardware and enterprise network infrastructureAdvanced troubleshooting skills and Level 3 support experience with Citrix Netscalers, F5 Load Balancers, and Fortigate firewallsDeep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/UDP, IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, OSPF, BGP, VPN, DNS, etc.)Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing complex network and security environmentsExperience leading large-scale network projects in corporate settingsSolid planning, analytical, and communication skillsStrong customer focus and understanding of service levels (SLAs)Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptableAble to work independently and collaborativelyWillingness to learn, travel, and support evolving business needsAbout DP WorldDP World is reshaping the future of global trade to improve lives everywhere.
