Key Responsibilities
Manage quarterly and year-end US GAAP reporting, owning the end-to-end consolidation process across the group's businesses and investments.
Lead annual reporting and local financial statement preparation under IFRS, shaping how the business tells its financial story.
Act as the technical go-to, providing expert accounting guidance on unique and complex transactions that keep the business ahead of the curve.
Champion a best-practice control environment, working closely with external auditors and driving smart remediation where needed.




Simplify and continuously improvement initiatives that genuinely elevate the finance function.
Mentor and grow a Senior Accountant, helping them build their own technical expertise.
About You
Qualified Accountant from a Big 4 or Mid-Tier audit firm, with 5+ years' post-qualified experience.
Previous financial reporting or technical accounting experience involving consolidation of large, complex groups.
Strong technical experience in IFRS, with US GAAP advantageous.
Exposure to revenue recognition, impairments and consolidations is highly advantageous.
Proven experience managing and developing a team is beneficial.
Collaborative, confident, and capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

To Note
They are only considering audit trained candidates from a Big 4/Mid-Tier chartered firm.
This is an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.
Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or long-term visa holder/able to work for the duration of 12 months.
They operate a flexible WFH model of 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
Shorter notice periods are highly preferred.
