manufacturing optimisation initiatives and equipment upgradesEmbed Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles into daily operationsMonitor and sustain implemented improvements to ensure long-term business advantages are achievedCoach and develop operational teams in Lean tools, problem-solving techniques and continuous improvement methodologiesAbout YouYou are a curious and results-driven engineer who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment and enjoys identifying opportunities to improve processes, performance and efficiencyEssential Skills & ExperienceDegree-qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical, Mechatronics or similar)Experience within manufacturing, heavy industry, mining or a related industrial environmentExposure to World Class Manufacturing (WCM) frameworks and methodologiesStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies including 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping and Root Cause AnalysisExperience delivering process improvement initiatives and operational change projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving capability with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement and project management skillsAbility to influence teams and drive sustainable behavioural and operational changeExperience supporting capital projects, plant upgrades or manufacturing optimisation programs highly regarded
