About the Role
Lighthouse Christian College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary Teacher to join our team in a full-time, 12-month contract position.
This role offers an exciting prospect to teach VCE Chemistry alongside Junior Secondary Art and Visual Communication, within a supportive and faith-cantered school community.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs in Chemistry and ArtsPlan, assess, and report on student progressCreate a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environmentContribute to curriculum development and faculty initiativesParticipate in College events, meetings, and co-curricular activities
Desirable (but not essential)
Ability to teach additional Science subjectsExperience with Maker Space or interdisciplinary learning
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:




Hold a current VIT registrationDemonstrate a commitment to child safetyAlignment with Christian values and the College's ethos is an essential requirement for this positionHold a bachelor's degree with a recognized teaching qualificationBe an Australian citizen or hold a permanent residency visa
