About the RoleOur client is seeking a specialized Civil Engineer focused on stormwater management and drainage systems to join their remote engineering team, supporting projects in and around Queenstown.
This role is crucial for designing effective solutions to manage urban runoff, mitigate flooding risks, and ensure proper drainage for infrastructure developments.
You will be responsible for hydraulic modeling, system design, and ensuring environmental compliance for projects that protect communities and infrastructure from water-related challenges.
This position offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the satisfaction of contributing to resilient urban environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign comprehensive stormwater management systems, including culverts, retention ponds, and swales.Perform hydraulic calculations and modeling for flood risk assessment and mitigation strategies.Develop detailed drawings, specifications,



and reports for drainage infrastructure projects.Ensure designs comply with environmental regulations and water quality standards.Collaborate with urban planners and other engineers to integrate drainage solutions into development projects.Provide technical guidance during the construction phase to ensure proper implementation of drainage designs.RequirementsBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.Professional Engineer (Pr.
