An exciting opportunity has become available for a polished and personable Legal Secretary or Paralegal to join a well-established boutique legal practice based in Parramatta.
This is a fantastic prospect for someone who loves being the person who keeps a legal practice running smoothly and wants to build a long-term career in legal support - without the desire to take the solicitor pathway.
About the Firm
You'll be joining a highly regarded boutique practice offering a broad range of legal services, with a strong reputation for providing clients with professional, friendly and empathetic support during what can often be some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
The firm has particular expertise across Family Law, Wills & Estates, Litigation, Conveyancing and Employment Law, with a genuine focus on client care, attention to detail and practical solutions.
About the Role
Working closely with the legal team, you'll provide high-level administrative and paralegal support across a busy family law practice.
Preparing and managing affidavits, briefs, subpoenas and consent orders
Assisting with balance sheets and family law documentation
Preparing matters for court attendances and hearings
Diary and file management
Liaising professionally and empathetically with clients
Managing correspondence and legal documentation
Billing,



invoicing and general matter administration
Assisting with wills and estate matters as required
Providing proactive day-to-day support to the legal team
About You
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant or Paralegal
Family Law experience is desirable
Confidence working across affidavits, subpoenas, consent orders, briefs and court documentation
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
A warm, approachable and empathetic communication style
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your work
A genuine interest in building a long-term career in legal support
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys legal support and takes pride in being an integral part of a legal team.
