They're on the lookout for a reliable Warehouse Senior Operator to join their friendly team in Victoria.About the Role:As the Senior Warehouse Operator, reporting to the Victorian Warehouse Supervisor, you will assist in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Victorian warehouse to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of all warehouse functions.
You will also act in the role of the Warehouse Supervisor during periods of leave or other absences, ensuring continuity of operations.
This role is perfect for someone eager to take the next step in their career and be part of a thriving national company, putting their skills and knowledge to work in a varied setting.Working hours are from Monday-Friday – 6:30am-2:30pm.Key Responsibilities:Assist the Warehouse Supervisor to coordinate all warehouse functions for our Victorian WarehouseTemporarily assume the responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor when they are not availablePick and pack ordersFollow instructions as directed by the warehouse supervisorLoading/unloading of trucks and staging Customer ordersUnloading containersCo-ordinate staff in the warehouse in-line with planned activitiesHelp resolve any arising warehouse problems or complaintsComply with OH&S; standards within the warehouseMaintain a clean warehouseOther duties as may be reasonably associated and expected with the position taking into consideration your skills and experienceDo you have what it takes?
Previous experience in a similar Warehouse roleAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamProven experience in staff supervisionForklift licence is essentialComputer literacy is essentialThrive in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills; written and verbalStrong problem-solving skills with solution driven outcomesKnowledge of OH&S; proceduresThe ability to build strong relationships across the businessWhy Join Us?
