including reconciliations and transactional processing during peak periods and leave coverage.Key responsibilities include:Process end-to-end fortnightly payroll accurately and on time.Interpret and apply the SCHADS Award, National Employment Standards (NES) and relevant payroll legislationMaintain accurate employee payroll records.Process superannuation, PAYG and other statutory payroll obligations.Respond to payroll enquiries and provide timely, professional support to employees and stakeholders.Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and issuesAssist with reconciliations and other Finance activities as requiredIdentify opportunities to improve payroll processes and contribute to continuous improvement.About YouYou're an experienced Payroll Officer who is confident interpreting awards, highly detail-focused and comfortable taking ownership of end-to-end payroll.Experience processing end-to-end Australian payrollExperience interpreting and applying the SCHADS AwardSound knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and the NESExperience working with payroll systems and strong Microsoft Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and strong numerical and analytical skillsThe ability to investigate issues, solve problems and meet payroll deadlinesStrong communication skills and a customer-focused approachPermanent work rights in Australia.A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain them.You'll stand out if you also have:Experience in the disability, community services or not-for-profit sector.Experience with reconciliations or broader Finance processesA genuine interest in improving payroll processes and the employee experienceAbout Living My WayLiving My Way is a trusted, member-based not-for-profit organisation with more than 30 years' experience empowering people with disability to live independently with choice and control.Our people are at the heart of what we do.
