The Electrical Fitter is a trade qualified responsible for the testing, installation, commissioning, fault diagnosis, and maintenance of electrical systems associated with industrial pumps and generator equipment.
Based at VTX Group's Broken Hill facility, this role supports both workshop and field operations across regional NSW, VIC, and SA.
The position plays a critical role in ensuring reliable operation, compliance, and performance of pumping and power generation systems used in mining and municipal wastewater applications.
The Electrical Fitter works both independently and as part of a broader service team, delivering high-quality technical outcomes while maintaining strong safety, documentation, and customer service standards.Key responsibilitiesPerform electrical testing, termination, commissioning and fault diagnosis of pump and motor systemsConduct insulation resistance testing, phase rotation checks, and motor validationDiagnose and repair faults in electrical systems associated with pumps and generatorsFault find, test and commission control panels and wastewater pump stationsWork with VSDs, soft starters, protection relays and automation systemsCarry out generator diagnostics, load testing and performance verificationInstall,
