About the RoleOur client is seeking a talented Embedded Systems Electrical Engineer to join their innovative team in Queenstown .
This role focuses on the design, development, and integration of embedded electrical systems within our cutting-edge products.
You will be responsible for everything from circuit design and component selection to firmware integration and system testing.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on challenging hardware-software co-design projects, contribute to the development of next-generation technologies, and collaborate within a forward-thinking engineering department that values technical expertise and collaborative problem-solving.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop embedded electrical systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.Integrate microcontrollers, sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces into embedded solutions.Collaborate with software/firmware engineers to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.Develop and execute test plans for embedded systems, including functional, performance,



and environmental testing.Perform system-level troubleshooting and debugging of hardware and firmware issues.Contribute to the definition of system architecture and technical specifications for new embedded products.Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in embedded systems design and development.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded systems hardware design and development.Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad).
Experience with microcontroller-based systems (e.g., ARM Cortex, ESP32) and common peripherals (SPI, I2C, UART).
