We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Dry Goods Leading Hand to join our team.
This role is responsible for leading and supporting the Dry Goods team, coordinating daily activities and ensuring stock and materials are available to support smooth production and operational requirements.The successful candidate will work closely with Supervisors and other departments, provide guidance to team members, assist with stock control and ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the Dry Goods team to ensure daily operations run smoothlyAllocate daily tasks and provide clear instructions and guidance to team membersEnsure dry goods and stock are available, correctly stored and easily accessibleMonitor stock levels and assist with stock control and inventory managementCheck stock and materials as required and report any shortages or issues to the relevant SupervisorMaintain a clean, safe and organised work area at all timesEnsure all team members follow workplace policies, procedures and WHS requirementsSupport the team to meet daily production and operational requirementsCommunicate effectively with Supervisors,



production teams and other departmentsAssist with training, induction and ongoing support of team membersIdentify and report any safety, quality, stock or operational issuesProvide support to the Supervisor and assist with the day-to-day running of the Dry Goods areaSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing or similar setting is highly regardedPrevious experience in a leading hand, team leader or supervisory role is an advantageGood computer skills and the ability to use basic workplace systemsGood communication and organisational skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate stock informationAbility to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilitiesAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to work as part of a team and confidently provide guidance to other employeesGood problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to daily tasksStrong commitment to workplace health and safetyAbility to follow company policies, procedures and instructionsReliable, punctual and willing to take responsibility for the smooth operation of the Dry Goods area
