Full-Time or Part time | Illawarra, Southern Sydney, Southern Highlands & South CoastJoin an established 35+ year Australian businessIllawarra Catering Equipment is an established commercial refrigeration and catering equipment business with more than 35 years' experience servicing businesses across the Illawarra, Southern Sydney, Southern Highlands and South Coast.We work with a diverse range of clients including pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafés, commercial kitchens and aged-care facilities.We are looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration & Catering Equipment Service Technician to join our team.This is a hands‐on field service role suited to a technician who enjoys fault‐finding, variety and working directly with customers.About the RoleYou will be responsible for servicing, repairing, maintaining and installing a wide range of commercial refrigeration and catering equipment.Your responsibilities will include:Diagnosing and repairing commercial refrigeration and catering equipmentPreventative maintenance and scheduled servicingAttending breakdowns and carrying out fault diagnosisCompleting warranty repairsInstallation, commissioning and testing of new equipmentIdentifying required parts and arranging parts for repairs and installationsUsing our mobile job‐management system to manage service callsCompleting accurate service reports, including the cause of breakdowns and work undertakenProviding professional and courteous service to customersLiaising with the Service Coordinator regarding jobs, parts and customer requirementsMaintaining a clean, safe and professional work environmentWorking in accordance with company WHS policies and proceduresAbout YouWe are looking for someone who is technically capable,



reliable and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.You will have:Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (UEE*****, UEE***** or equivalent)National Refrigerant Handling Licence (ARCtick)Restricted Electrical Occupation LicenceCurrent NSW Driver LicenceMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar commercial refrigeration/service roleStrong refrigeration fault‐finding and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently and manage jobs in the fieldGood communication and customer service skillsStrong attention to detail and accurate reporting skillsA professional approach and pride in your workmanshipAbility to work effectively as part of a teamExperience with commercial catering equipment will be highly regarded.Experience with equipment such as commercial refrigeration, cool rooms, freezers, ice machines, dishwashers, ovens, combi ovens and other commercial kitchen equipment would be advantageous.Why Join Us?
