About the RoleOur client, a reputable law firm in Queenstown, is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Paralegal specializing in Civil Litigation.
This role is vital in supporting the litigation team by managing case files, conducting legal research, and assisting with document preparation.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth progression of cases from initiation through to trial or settlement.
This is an excellent prospect for a motivated paralegal to gain valuable experience and contribute to a respected legal practice in the Eastern Cape, working within a supportive and professional team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys in managing civil litigation caseloads, from initial filing to discovery and trial preparation.Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, case law, and legal precedents.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence under attorney supervision.Organize and maintain case files, evidence, and discovery materials systematically.Schedule depositions, client interviews,



and court appearances.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff as directed by attorneys.Prepare trial binders and assist attorneys during court proceedings.RequirementsRelevant legal qualification (e.g., Diploma in Paralegal Studies or LLB).
