Job Description
We are looking for an experienced HSE Advisor to join a major renewable energy project in Victoria.
This is a site-based position based in regional Victoria supporting the delivery of a large-scale solar and BESS project, with a strong focus on contractor management, site compliance and maintaining high health, safety and environmental standards throughout construction.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day HSE support across site
Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance checks
Manage and monitor contractors and subcontractors
Review SWMS, JHAs, risk assessments and other HSE documentation
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings
Monitor compliance with HSE requirements and relevant legislation
Identify hazards and support corrective actions
Assist with incident reporting and investigations
Support environmental requirements where required
Maintain HSE records, registers and reporting
Promote a proactive safety culture across site
Work closely with construction and site management to manage risk




About You
Previous experience in an HSE/WHS Advisor role within renewable energy, construction or infrastructure
Experience working on large-scale projects and managing contractors
Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation and construction safety requirements
Confident conducting site inspections, audits and investigations
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with site teams and contractors
Relevant HSE/WHS qualifications
Ability to work in a site-based environment
