Job Description
Process and verify Accounts Payable (AP) invoices, ensuring accurate entry into Oracle
Manage invoice approvals and the AP workflow within Oracle Administer corporate credit cards and employee expense claims via Concur
Prepare domestic and overseas pay runs (including multiple currencies)
Manage intercompany netting processes
Monitor and manage the shared AP inbox
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies or queries
Manage purchase orders and perform 3-way matching (PO, invoice, proof of receipt)
Respond to AP enquiries via phone, email, and in person
Provide Accounts Receivable backup support during leave periods
Financial Reporting: Assist with preparation of financial reports and management reports.
Month-End Support: Support the senior finance team during the month-end closing process.
Auditing & Compliance: Gather and organise documents for internal and external audits as well as tax under supervision.
Perform general administrative and ad hoc finance tasks as required

Education:



Currently completing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
Tech Savvy: Strong foundational knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, data entry) and an eagerness to learn ERP system.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attitude: Positive, proactive, willing to learn, and able to manage deadlines effectively.
Availability: Must be immediately available with long-term working rights in Australia
Desirable: Previous part-time experience in an accounts, administration or customer service role highly regarded.
Desirable: Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP and accounting software such as MYOB or Xero highly regarded.
