About the role
An exciting opportunity to join the Ampol Petroleum Distributors team based at our Toowoomba Depot.




Reporting to the Territory Manager, this role is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of our tanker fleet and driver workforce across a multi-depot region.
You will play a key role in fleet performance, regulatory compliance, while building strong relationships with drivers and key stakeholders to ensure the reliable delivery of our services.
In addition, this role will provide support to the Distribution Operations Coordinator (DOC) with the day-to-day operations of the depot, including depot administration, compliance activities and operational processes.
Responsibilities:
Customer service & manage customer inventory
Manage driver inductions, medicals and other administrative requirement
Provide Operational information and directions to drivers
Supporting the planning & coordinating fleet movements
Manage administrative aspects of tanker truck compliance activities
Act asweekend/backup/reliefscheduler for the Fleet Supervisor
Monitor HSSE processes and practices within depot
Ensure that Ampol complies with all applicable laws and regulations
Qualification & Experience
Strong customer service & administration background
Scheduling experience is highly desirable but not essential
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
Intermediate computer literacy skills




Ability to work in a team and autonomously
Understand of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations and associated legislation is desirable (not essential)
