About the RoleOur client is seeking a competent Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team in Queenstown .
This essential role involves the maintenance, repair, and servicing of a diverse fleet of heavy-duty machinery used in construction, mining, or agricultural operations.
You will be responsible for diagnosing complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and performing timely repairs to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
The ideal candidate is experienced, possesses strong diagnostic skills, and is dedicated to maintaining the safety and operational efficiency of heavy machinery.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, trucks, and specialized machinery.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain problems.Conduct engine overhauls, brake repairs, suspension work, and other major component repairs.Read and interpret service manuals , schematics,
