We are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our client's Supply Chain team based in Acacia Ridge.
This is a great prospect for someone with experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory, logistics or supply chain administration looking for a part time opportunity within a busy operational environment.About the Role As a Procurement Officer, you will support the day-to-day procurement, inventory and supply chain activities of the business.
You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure orders are managed efficiently, stock levels are maintained and customer requirements are met.Key ResponsibilitiesRaise and manage purchase orders with local and overseas suppliersReview MRP recommendations and manage purchasing requirementsFollow up suppliers on orders, production and delivery timeframesCoordinate and track import shipments and inbound deliveriesMaintain accurate purchasing and inventory recordsMonitor stock levels and support replenishmentAssist with invoice matching and resolving discrepanciesManage backorders, bulk and high-value ordersLiaise with internal teams and suppliers to resolve supply issuesSupport continuous improvement across procurement and supply chain processesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will ideally have:Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, inventory, logistics or supply chainUnderstanding of purchase orders, supplier management and stock replenishmentStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and organisational skillsAbility to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlinesGood Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with QAD and/or DocLink will be highly regardedWhat's on Offer$***** per hour8:30am – 3:00pm4–5 days per weekBased in Acacia RidgeOpportunity for ongoing workJoin an established Supply Chain teamVaried role across procurement,
