HORTICULTURALIST / GROUNDSKEEPER – TAMBORINE MOUNTAINWe're looking for an experienced, practical and self-motivated Horticulturalist / Groundskeeper to maintain and progressively improve our acreage property on Tamborine Mountain.
Hours can be flexibly worked across 2–4 days per week by agreement.Key responsibilitiesCare and maintenance of extensive established ornamental gardensPruning, planting, fertilising, weed control and plant healthPlanning and developing new ornamental garden areasPlant selection and soft landscapingIrrigation and soil managementGeneral acreage and grounds maintenanceMinor handyman, fencing and irrigation repairsSome mowing/whipper snipping as required, although this is not primarily a mowing roleAbout youStrong horticultural and plant knowledgeAn eye for garden design and presentationAbility to work independently and take initiativeFormal horticultural or landscaping qualifications highly regarded, but robust practical experience and knowledge equally importantCurrent driver's licenceReliable transportNational Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
