About this opportunity
You will be a senior member of our national payroll team, mentoring and coaching payroll officers and supporting our offices across Australia
Support the Payroll Operations and Systems Manager in the delivery of effective and effective payrolloperations
Act as a point of escalation and lead a team of 3 to 4 Payroll Officers
Maintain specialist knowledge of Payroll Practices, Employment Legislation, Enterprise Agreements and Award interpretation
Complete all necessary compliance lodgments for single touch payroll, superannuation, and Portable LSL
Prepare payroll reporting for management as required
Drive to achieve continuous improvement in the overall payroll processes

About you:
Experience in end-to-end payroll and in a senior or similar role
Leadership or mentoring experience
Strong award and enterprise agreement interpretation, with a sound understanding of superannuation and long service leave legislation
Experience with Aurion payroll system is highly desirable
High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines independently
Australian work rights
