About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead their software development initiatives in Queenstown.
This hybrid role requires a professional adept at guiding software projects from conception through to deployment, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and high-quality outcomes.
You will work closely with development teams, product owners, and QA to foster collaboration and drive project success.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and excellent leadership capabilities within a mixed-location team structure.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of software development projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration between development teams, stakeholders, and management.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies,



implementing proactive mitigation strategies.
Oversee the quality assurance process and ensure delivered software meets high standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software project management, preferably using Agile methodologies.
Proven experience managing software development teams and projects.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including various methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in a hybrid or distributed team environment.
