Our client, a leading passenger car dealership located near Perth, Australia, is seeking a highly skilled and UK Accredited Master Technician to join their aftersales team.

The Role
As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out complex diagnostics, repairs, and technical investigations to the highest manufacturer standards.
You will also act as a key technical resource within the workshop, supporting colleagues and helping to resolve challenging vehicle faults.
Carry out advanced diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and complex repair work to manufacturer standards
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, and vehicle system faults
Identify and rectify difficult or intermittent faults, ensuring high first-time fix rates
Act as a technical point of reference and provide support to other technicians within the workshop
Support the workshop team with technical advice, fault diagnosis, and repair methodology
Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technologies, including hybrid and electric vehicles
Work closely with manufacturer technical support and dealership management where required
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with manufacturer procedures




Maintain a high level of workmanship while ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards
Ideal Candidate
Proven experience as a Master Technician, Senior Technician, or highly experienced Diagnostic Technician within a franchised passenger car dealership
Strong experience with complex diagnostics and fault finding
Manufacturer accreditation at Master Technician or equivalent level
Experience working with Japanese, Korean, or Chinese passenger car brands would be advantageous
Strong knowledge of modern vehicle electrical, electronic, mechanical, and diagnostic systems
Experience with hybrid and electric vehicles is highly desirable
Ability to support, mentor, and provide technical guidance to other technicians
Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical and analytical approach
Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving first-time fix and quality standards
Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
A strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional customer and workshop outcomes
