Zenith Dental Clinic is a growing, patient-centred practice in Toormina on the beautiful Coffs Coast of New South Wales.
We are expanding.
That means we are looking for the right people to grow with us and not just to fill a position, but to become a real part of our team for the long term.
No previous dental experience is required.
We are looking for people with the right attitude, a genuine care for others and a willingness to learn.
We will teach you everything else.
This is more than just chair-side assisting — we want you to understand how a whole dental practice works.
From your first week, you will be learning, contributing and growing.
We will support to complete your Certificate III in Dental Assisting, with training costs covered by the practice.
You will earn a recognised national qualification while gaining real, hands-on experience every day.

It is a qualified qualification and the foundation of a career.
Key responsibilities
Chair-side dental assisting — working alongside our dentists during a full range of procedures
Patient care and communication — welcoming patients, easing anxiety and ensuring they feel looked after
Preparing treatment rooms — setting up procedure trays, maintaining cleanliness and room readiness
Infection control and sterilisation — learning and applying clinical safety protocols to the highest standard
Dental instruments and equipment — understanding what everything is, how it works and how to care for it
Clinical records and charting — assisting with documentation,



X-rays and accurate patient records
Reception and front desk systems — understanding scheduling, patient flow and practice coordination
Practice administration — billing, health fund processing and the business side of a healthcare practice
Patient follow-up and recall — how great practices stay connected with their patients between visits
Working alongside dentists and other healthcare professionals in a team environment
About you
Finishing school or have recently finished Year 12
Looking for your first professional career opportunity

Organised, attentive to detail and calm under pressure
Willing to learn, open to feedback and genuinely motivated to grow

No previous dental experience or knowledge required
A structured dental assistant traineeship pathway with mentoring from day one
Hands-on experience in a busy, modern and growing dental practice
Support to complete your Certificate III in Dental Assisting
Exposure to clinical, administrative and patient-facing roles across the whole practice
