About the Role
Our client seeks a meticulous and organized Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team at their hotel in Queenstown .
This position is essential for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property, ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction.
You will be responsible for supervising housekeeping staff, managing cleaning schedules, inspecting rooms, controlling inventory of linens and supplies, and ensuring adherence to all hygiene and safety protocols.
The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional standards of cleanliness and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and direct the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
Develop and manage cleaning schedules to ensure all areas are maintained to high standards.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality and consistency.
Manage inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens,



and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and hotel standards.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
