FTE 0.6 - Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - 22.5hrs per week (open to job sharing days across several candidates)

About Stirling Health Centre
Located approximately 45km South of Perth on Garden Island, HMAS Stirling provides operational and logistics support to the RAN ships, submarines and aircraft based in WA.
The base is home to RAN Submarine Training & Systems Centre, Training Centre West complex, Defence Communications Station Perth, and is a trials/research & support facility.
Health Centre services include primary medical, underwater medicine, nursing, mental health, physiotherapy,



dental and pharmaceutical services.
Standard operating hours are generally 07:*******:30 Monday - Friday (depending on role requirements).
This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
What you'll do
Deliver clinical dental services to Defence members
Provide a full range of general dental care including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning and preventative care
Undertake procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canal treatments, periodontal care and minor oral surgery
Promote and maintain oral health through patient education, preventative strategies and ongoing care
Use diagnostic tools including dental imaging to support clinical decision-making and treatment planning
Maintain accurate clinical records using Defence eHealth systems and ensure compliance with governance frameworks
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes
What you bring
Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Dentist with AHPRA
Minimum two years' full-time (or equivalent) post graduate clinical experience, with recent practice within the last five years
Strong clinical capability across a broad range of general dentistry procedures
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and CPR (HLTAID009) certification
Australian Citizenship required for baseline security clearance
Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
