Genuinely enjoy working with children and young people aged 0-18, including those with complex physical, intellectual, developmental or medical needs.
n
Provide personal care and medical support with patience, dignity and respect.
n
Stay calm during challenging moments and support young people with emotional regulation.
n
Follow individual care and support plans to provide safe, consistent support.
n
Encourage independence, participation and community involvement at every ability level.
n
Communicate well, build trusting relationships and maintain professional boundaries.
n
Bring warmth, positivity and a willingness to learn about each young person's needs.
n

You'll Bring:
n
n




A current Australian driver's licence (minimum P2).
n
A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain them.
n
Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
n
A completed or currently enrolled Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, Social Work or a related qualification.
n
Availability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 7-day roster, including the ability to complete a minimum of two sleepover shifts per fortnight.
