We're looking for a Deputy Principal to lead their own campus atThe Y School in Armadale, WA.
Your Impact:
At The Y School, we aim to uphold the Y's values of Respect,Honesty, Responsibility & Caring through providing high-qualityeducational experiences for all of our students. As a CARE(Curriculum & Re-Engagement) School, we are focussed on workingwith students at their point of need, dedicating time, energy, andexpertise to formulating strong Individual Education Plans. Wedevelop rapport with students in order to assist them in buildingtowards further education or employment, through options such asWACE pathways, School-Based Traineeships and university bridgingcourses. Our main focus is to assist students to re-engage witheducation, supporting them to dismantle the barriers and create achance to flourish.
As Deputy Principal you'll lead the implementation of the 'YSchool Strategy' on our new Armadale Campus, providing a consistentapproach for curriculum delivery for students in Years *******. The'Y Education Model' will be your guide to maintaining a highquality of service delivery specifically focussing on supportingstudents who are at risk of disengaging with education. You'll leada dynamic and innovative team of Teachers, Youth Workers, SchoolCounsellors,
and administrative support. At times you'll behands-on, providing academic and mental health/wellbeing supportfor students and lead your team in the development andimplementation of academic and support programs. You'll be earning :$141,551 - $154,896 + 12% Super perannum

You'll be great in this role if you...
Have a Current Teacher Registration with the TeacherRegistration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA)
Hold a Tertiary qualification in Education or Teaching thatis recognised in Western Australia
Have Post Graduate qualification/s in Education Leadership/ Business Management (highly regarded but notessential)
Have experience in successful strategic leadership in aneducational setting
Seek to maintain a status of Highly Accomplished or Lead inthe AITSL standards and fully understand their application indaily practice
Have knowledge regarding school funding models, budgetingand legislative requirements (CARE School knowledge isdesirable but not essential)
Have knowledge and experience of Explicit Teachingtechniques
Can obtain a current National Police Check and hold acurrent Working with Children Check
