Duties:

Develop, deliver and hold accountability for a proactive strategy to improve governance and policy outcomes including the provision of high quality and appropriate advice and information to key governance forums.
Develop, implement and hold accountability for Corporation-specific governance programs and policies to support engagement, efficiency and contribute to the achievement of Corporate and Project objectives.
Lead and provide strategic management of the Corporation's governance arrangements including, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement. Ensure governance frameworks effectively support corporate accountability and statutory compliance obligations.
Lead the preparation of authoritative advice for governance committees including the CEO, Executive leadership team, Corporation Board, cross-government Committees and Cabinet Sub-Committee, ensuring advice is clear, factual and tailored for the audience.
Establish productive working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including senior government officials and regulators to ensure effective engagement,



often as the primary contact for the Corporation. Work with experts across the Corporation and consultants to translate complex technical information into concise and clear advice.
Leadership and management of the Governance and Policy team.
Identify emerging issues and lead advice, strategies and proposals to support the Corporation's effective and responsible execution of its strategic, statutory and development responsibilities.
The person must continue to satisfy the above essential requirements/qualifications throughout their employment in this role.
Desirable Requirements

Experience working in a complex governance environment, preferably within a government setting.
