Position Accountabilities & Activities

Pick‐Up and Delivery
n
n
Review daily run‐sheet and whiteboard prior to commencing deliveries or pickups.
n
Conduct pre‐departure vehicle inspections and report any issues.
n
Safely load items using correct tie‐down and securing methods.
n
Transport, unload, and deliver freight in a manner that prevents damage, spoilage, or loss.
n
Follow all customer‐specific delivery instructions agreed prior to dispatch.
n
Maintain accurate documentation, including delivery signatures on Job Cards and Consignment Notes.
n
Adhere to scheduled routes and timeframes.
n
Navigate efficiently using approved map applications.
n
Select optimal routes considering traffic, construction, and other environmental factors.
n
n
Safety
n
n
Follow best‐practice safety procedures during driving, loading, and unloading.
n
Immediately notify the Store Manager of any accidents, incidents, or hazards encountered while off‐site.
n
n
Qualified Packing
n
n
Follow PACK & SEND's packing standards, guidelines, and approved methods.
n
Pack, weigh, measure, and label items for shipment or storage.
n
Use packing tools and materials correctly, including hand tools, adhesives, cushioning materials, and pallet jacks.
n
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe packing and warehouse area.
n

Training
n
n
Complete all required e‐Learning modules, webinars, and competency‐based training.
n
Apply newly acquired skills to improve packing quality, customer service,



and operational efficiency.
n
n
Compliance & Safety
n
n
Apply PACK & SEND's WH&S; policies at all times.
n
Conduct duties in accordance with the PACK & SEND Code of Conduct, ensuring professionalism, brand integrity, and respectful customer interactions.

Follow all operational procedures, including freight handling, documentation, and customer communication standards.

Qualifications

Completion of High School (Year 12 or equivalent).
n
Valid Australian Driver's Licence.

Experience

Experience in a fast‐paced retail, logistics, or customer‐service environment.
n
Experience coordinating or supporting team activities (desirable).

Skills

Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
n
High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Ability to follow structured processes and adapt to operational changes.
