About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Logistics Operations Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa, with a primary focus on supporting operations that may include or originate from areas such as Queenstown . You will be instrumental in managing and optimizing daily logistics activities, ensuring seamless coordination of shipments, inventory management, and carrier relations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a comprehensive understanding of supply chain processes and excellent communication skills, capable of excelling in a virtual workplace. This position is key to maintaining operational efficiency and driving improvements across our client's logistics network.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee day-to-day logistics operations, including shipment coordination, tracking, and issue resolution.

Liaise effectively with internal teams, external carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure optimal stock management.

Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies,

Requirements

Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related operational role.

Strong understanding of transportation modes, warehousing, and inventory control.
