n We are currently looking for multiple Casual Catering Assistants to join the Spotless team at Villawood Immigration Detention Centre in Villawood, NSW. As a subcontractor to Secure Journeys, Spotless is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, culturally diverse meals that support the overall health and well-being of individuals within the centre.
n
We're seeking dedicated Catering Assistants who are passionate about delivering exceptional food and customer service. To be considered, you must have a Certificate II or higher in Commercial Cookery and a valid Working with Children Check.

Assist in assembling, preparing, and producing meals as directed by the Chef Manager or Head Chef.
n
Maintain cleanliness across food preparation and dining areas, including equipment and utensils.
n
Adhere to the HACCP Food Safety Plan by upholding food safety and hygiene standards, completing all documentation accurately and on time.
n
Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure it remains clean and well-maintained.
n

To be successful, you'll have:
n
n
Certificate II in Kitchen Operations (or higher) - Mandatory requirement
n
Valid Food Safety Certificates
n
Current Working with Children Check (Employee) - Mandatory requirement
n
Prior experience in a commercial kitchen setting
n
Sound knowledge of HACCP Food Safety guidelines
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills
n
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
