We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of a well-established and highly respected early learning service in Gosford. This is a full-time leadership opportunity for a confident, people-focused leader who can effectively manage centre operations, team leadership, compliance, family relationships and quality outcomes.

About the Role
n
As the Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor , you will:
n
n
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staffing, ratios, rosters, budgets and parent communication




n
Ensure the service operates in compliance with the National Quality Framework, National Law and Education and Care Services National Regulations
n
Maintain a strong child-safe culture and high standards of supervision, health and safety
n
Lead, support and develop the 2IC, Educational Leader, Room Leaders and educator team
n
Manage recruitment, induction, performance management, staff development and retention
n
Oversee staffing levels, permanent rosters, qualifications and regulatory requirements
n
Build strong, skilled relationships with children, families and the local community
n
Monitor occupancy, enrolments, enquiries and centre tours and actively support centre growth
n
Lead the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and maintain ongoing Assessment and Rating readiness
n
Support curriculum implementation aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
n
Ensure compliance with child protection, health and safety requirements
n
Foster a positive, collaborative and supportive team culture
n
n
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
n
n
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care as a minimum
n
A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education is highly desirable
n
Previous experience as a Centre Director / Nominated Supervisor (3+ years' experience is preferred)
n
Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, National Law and Education and Care Services National Regulations
n
Demonstrated experience with Assessment and Rating and Quality Improvement Plans
n
Proven leadership and team management skills
n
Strong ability to build and maintain a stable, positive and high-performing team environment
n
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
Current NSW Working With Children Check
n
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, Food Safety and Child Protection training
n
Willingness to complete a National Police Check
n
Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or a valid Australian working visa with full working rights
n
