Here's how an
Estimating Student
for our Solar Australia office in
North Sydney
contributes to our team:

Understanding and utilizing PCL's estimating manuals, systems and forms
n
Reviewing quantity survey assignment with lead estimator or Construction Risk Manager.
n
Performing assigned quantity survey
n
Giving quantities of major purchase items to purchasing department for pricing
n
Transferring quantities to lead estimator
n
Bid document control
n




Performing bid day assignments
n
Visiting job sites periodically
n
Developing relationships with subcontractors
n
Other duties as assigned by theConstruction Risk Manager
n
Qualifications
n
n
Candidates must have a solid desire to work in a construction environment and prior field construction experience will be considered an asset.
n
Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
n
