The modern and up-to-date hospital has an accident and emergency department, a comprehensive surgical program supported by a 12-bed critical/intensive care unit, rapidly growing cardiology, medical, rehabilitation, and cancer services.
About the role
We are seeking Registered Nurses to join our Medical/Oncology/Haematology and Palliative Care ward in a dedicated Night Duty role. You will provide comprehensive patient care overnight, working alongside various clinicians to deliver acute medical care (respiratory, renal, geriatric and general medical) and specialised cancer treatment, including oncology, haematology and palliative care.
Position Responsibilities
Assesses and delivers patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required.
Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and hospital.
Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate.
Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff.
Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives.
Works effectively within the multi-disciplinary health care team with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Eligibility and experience required
Registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse.
Recent acute inpatient experience and demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction.




Well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills.
Oncology experience (including cytotoxic medication administration) highly regarded.
Benefits
Salary $67,397 to $107,881 (pro rata if part time), plus 12% superannuation.
Permanent full time or part-time positions available.
