At Sedgman, we're delivering some of Australia's most significant mineral processing and resource projects, and we're looking for an experienced
Electrical Project Engineer
to join our growing project delivery team.
n
Based in Brisbane, you'll support the delivery of major mineral processing and resource projects across Australia. Working closely with engineering, construction and commissioning teams, you'll play a key role in delivering electrical project outcomes from construction through to commissioning, with regular site travel to support project execution and stakeholder engagement.
n
This is an opportunity to work within a business that delivers end-to-end EPC/EPCM solutions and gives project engineers exposure to the full project lifecycle.

What You'll Do
n

n
Coordinate and manage electrical work packages
n
n
Manage contractors and subcontractors to achieve project outcomes
n
n
Support construction, commissioning and project delivery activities
n
n
Work closely with engineering, procurement and site teams
n
n
Assist with contract administration and variation management
n
n
Monitor project progress, schedule and cost performance
n
n
Contribute to project reporting and forecasting activities
n
n
Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
n
n
About You
n




You are a hands-on Project Engineer who enjoys working in a delivery-focused environment and has experience supporting complex construction projects.
n
To be successful, you will have:
n
n
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
n
Approximately 5+ years' Project Engineering experience
n
Experience delivering electrical construction scopes
n
Contractor and subcontractor management experience
n
Exposure to mining, mineral processing, power generation or heavy industry projects
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
Ability to work across multidisciplinary project teams
n
n
Desirable
n
n
EPC/EPCM project experience
n
Construction and commissioning experience
n
Commercial and contract administration exposure
n
n
