Collarenebri Sports Club is entering an exciting new chapter. Following a major refurbishment, the Club is poised for growth as tourism continues to increase throughout the region. Located on the banks of the Barwon River, Collarenebri is known as the "Home of the Cod" and attracts visitors year-round with its renowned fishing, Artesian Springs and free camping.
As the region's only venue offering gaming, TAB and Keno, the Club plays a vital role in the local community. We're seeking a hands-on and motivated Venue Manager to lead the operation and help capitalise on the opportunities ahead.
About the Role
Reporting to the CEO and Board, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of both Collarenebri Sports Club and the town's local café. You'll lead a small, friendly team, drive operational performance and create outstanding experiences for members, locals and visitors alike.
With administrative support provided by Toongabbie Sports Club, you'll be free to focus on growing the business, leading people and improving customer experiences rather than being tied up with payroll and back-office administration.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Club and café operations
Recruit, train and develop local and seasonal staff
Manage gaming,



bar and hospitality operations
Prepare rosters and manage labour costs
Ensure compliance with gaming, liquor and WHS legislation
Drive customer service and operational excellence
Build strong relationships within the local community
Identify opportunities to grow revenue and visitation
About You
Management experience within clubs, hospitality or gaming
Strong understanding of gaming and liquor compliance
Proven leadership and team development skills
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Hands-on, organised and commercially minded
RSA and RCG certifications (essential)
