We're looking for casual Catering Assistants to join our friendly team at Bodington in Wentworth Falls, where you'll play an important role in creating nutritious, enjoyable and high-quality dining experiences for our residents.

About the role
n
As part of our Catering team, you'll help deliver delicious meals and exceptional dining experiences while ensuring our residents feel supported, respected and cared for. Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Assisting with meal preparation and resident meal service.
n
Providing a welcoming, high-quality dining experience for residents.
n
Assisting residents with their dining needs where required.
n
Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and hygiene.
n
Working collaboratively with your colleagues and contributing to a positive team environment.
n
Following workplace health and safety policies and procedures to keep yourself, your colleagues and residents safe. Building positive and respectful relationships with residents and their families.

What you'll bring:
n
We're looking for someone who combines a genuine care for people with a positive, can-do attitude. To be successful, you'll have:
n
n
Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable, but not essential.
n
A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to older people.
n
Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
n
Good knowledge of food safety, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practices.
n
Warm, empathetic interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
n
The ability to establish and maintain professional and respectful relationships with residents and their families.
n
An NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain them.
n
