THE OPPORTUNITY
n
Utilise your trade skills to help create campervans built for adventure.
n
Gold Coast Campervans is looking for a reliable, tradesperson who takes pride and quality in their workmanship. You'll help build campervans and motorhomes, working across cabinetry, interior fit-outs, 12V electrical systems and plumbing.
n
THE ROLE
n
n
Measure, cut, assemble and install cabinetry, panels and interior components.
n
Fit doors, drawers, hardware and campervan accessories.
n
Install and connect 12V wiring, lighting, pumps and related components within your skills and authorisations.
n
Install water tanks, pumps, hoses, sinks and campervan plumbing components within your skills and authorisations.
n
Check installations for correct operation, neat workmanship and water leaks.
n
Work accurately from measurements and build requirements.
n
Solve practical fitting problems and maintain a high standard of finish.
n
Keep your workspace organised and follow safe workshop practices.
n

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
n
Carpentry, cabinetmaking, joinery, shopfitting and other building trade backgrounds are welcome. Experience in RV, caravan or campervan manufacturing is preferred.

Two years of transferable trade experience.
n
Experience with 12V systems and campervan, caravan or similar plumbing installations.
n
Current manual driver licence.
n
Ability to use hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
n
Accurate measuring, assembly and fitting skills.
n
Reliable, punctual and clear communication skills.
n
The ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
n
Ability to provide examples of your workmanship.
n
n
Reference checks are mandatory. Applicants must provide work referees who can verify their experience, workmanship and reliability.
n
A National Police Check is required as part of the recruitment process, with your consent. Any findings will be assessed for their relevance to the role.
n
Any work requiring a licence must be performed by appropriately licensed personnel.

n
Our workshop is currently in Oxenford and will relocate to Mount Cotton at the end of November ****. Applicants starting before the move must be able to work at both locations.
