HORTICULTURALIST / GROUNDSKEEPER – TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN

We're looking for an experienced, practical and self-motivated Horticulturalist / Groundskeeper to maintain and progressively improve our acreage property on Tamborine Mountain. Hours can be flexibly worked across 2–4 days per week by agreement.

Key responsibilities
n

Care and maintenance of extensive established ornamental gardens
n
Pruning, planting, fertilising, weed control and plant health
n
Planning and developing new ornamental garden areas
n
Plant selection and soft landscaping
n
Irrigation and soil management
n
General acreage and grounds maintenance
n
Minor handyman, fencing and irrigation repairs
n




Some mowing/whipper snipping as required, although this is not primarily a mowing role
n

About you
n
n
Strong horticultural and plant knowledge
n
An eye for garden design and presentation
n
Ability to work independently and take initiative
n
Formal horticultural or landscaping qualifications highly regarded, but strong practical experience and knowledge equally key
n
Current driver's licence
n
Reliable transport
n
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
