THE ROLE – BUS & COACH MECHANIC
As a
Bus and Coach Mechanic
, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of a modern fleet of buses and coaches.
Your responsibilities may include:
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Carrying out preventative maintenance and servicing
Repairing diesel engines and associated components
Maintaining braking, suspension and steering systems
Carrying out inspections and safety checks
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults
Ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable and roadworthy
Completing scheduled maintenance and repair work
Working with modern diagnostic equipment
Maintaining accurate service and repair records




Working as part of an experienced maintenance team
You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced mechanics and technicians using modern workshop facilities, equipment and diagnostic technology.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
To be considered, you should have:
A recognised
trade qualification
in Heavy Vehicle, Diesel, Automotive or a related discipline
At least
2 years' post-qualification experience
Experience working on buses, coaches, trucks, HGVs or other heavy commercial vehicles
Good mechanical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
A good standard of spoken and written English
A strong commitment to vehicle safety and quality workmanship
International applicants must also meet the relevant requirements for an Australian SID Sponsored Visa.
AUSTRALIAN CARE + INTERNATIONAL RELOCATION
This opportunity is particularly suited to experienced mechanics currently working in the
