Warehouse 2IC - $40/hr | Temp to Perm | Taren Point

We're looking for an experienced Warehouse 2IC to join a well-established global company in Taren Point.
n
This is a hands-on warehouse role for someone who knows their way around a warehouse, can get stuck into the work, and is comfortable taking charge when the Warehouse Supervisor is away.

The Role
n
n
Report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor
n
Take full responsibility for warehouse operations during the Supervisor's absence
n
Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
n
Unload containers and manage incoming stock
n
Operate forklifts safely for loading and unloading
n
Complete basic data entry using the in-house system
n
Maintain an organised, safe and efficient warehouse
n
Assist with general warehouse duties as required
n

What We're Looking For
n
n




Current forklift licence with experience
n
Previous warehouse experience
n
Experience working independently and taking responsibility
n
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and container unloading
n
Strong organisational and communication skills
n
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
Must live locally or within a reasonable commuting distance of Taren Point
n
Own car and reliable transport
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse workplace
n

$40 per hour on casual basis, salary of $70-$75,000 when you go permanent
