The Role:

Tassal is looking for a reliable, physically fit, and motivatedCasual Processing Attendantto join our Offload team. Thisphysically demanding roleis based at our Dover processing site, located 1 hour and 30 minutes south of Hobart.
n
This is a night shift role (6pm start time) with the shift length (6-8 hours) dependent on the daily volume of fish. Your work is crucial to the first stage of our processing operation, supporting the efficient and secure receipt of our harvest.
n
The ideal candidate will be a true team player,comfortable working in a fast-paced, wet environment at night, with the physical capability to meet the demands of the role.

Responsibilities:
n
n
Assisting with the offloading of fish from the harvest transport.
n
Safely operating a forklift(essential requirement) to move materials and equipment.
n
Cleaning the offload area and equipment as required.
n
Preparing bins and liners for production.
n
Assisting with quality and label checks.
n
Manual tasks including shovelling ice, lifting bin lids, and pushing bins.
n




Maintaining a strong focus on safety and hygiene at all times.
n

Role requirements:
n
n
Essential:Avalid forklift ticketand proven experience.
n
Experience working in awet, industrial, or fast-paced environment.
n
Experience workingnight shifts.
n
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
n
Strong reliability, punctuality, and a proactive work ethic.
n
The physical fitness required for avery physically demandingrole involving manual handling. Candidates must pass a pre-employment medical + AOD screening.

A current driver's licence and reliable transport.
n
Proof of working rights in Australia.
