Description

About the Role:
n
As our Night Auditor, you will be responsible for:
n
n
Providing professional and friendly service to guests throughout the overnight shift.
n
Managing check-ins, check-outs, reservations and guest enquiries.
n
Completing end-of-day financial processing and Night Audit in RMS.
n
Reconciling room revenue, payments, adjustments, refunds, EFTPOS and credit card transactions.
n
Identifying discrepancies and preparing daily audit and reconciliation reports for management.
n
Supporting management with finance-related projects, including revenue checks, data entry, invoice coding, financial summaries and internal audit/compliance activities.
n
Monitoring lobby and building access and responding appropriately to after-hours guest issues or incidents.
n
Conducting routine floor checks and monitoring alarms, fire panels and other building systems.
n
Working closely with onsite security and escalating security, maintenance or safety concerns as required.
n
Preparing clear handovers for Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and management.
n
Providing other operational support as required by the Front Office Manager or Hotel Operations Manager.

Skills And Experiences
n
n
About You:
n
To succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:
n
n
Previous experience in hotel Front Office, Night Audit or a similar hospitality role.
n
Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, particularly when completing financial reconciliations.
n
Confidence working independently during overnight operations.
n
A professional, calm and guest-focused approach.
n
Valuable communication, problem-solving and incident-management skills.
n
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prepare accurate reports and handovers.
n
Experience using RMS or a similar hotel property management system would be highly regarded.
n
The ability to work overnight shifts, particularly
Friday and Saturday nights
, with flexibility based on operational requirements.
